CURL FETE

CurlFete is an annual Natural Hair and Beauty Expo that was launched in 2016 to empower women, encourage self-love and celebrate the beauty of curly and kinky hair. It has since evolved into the largest trade show for hair and beauty in the Caribbean, as well as now the largest expo in Guyana.

We adopted six vibrant colours to shape the aesthetic with Electric Pink being our primary shade.

The colours paired with custom type help drive the fun, and celebratory nature of the brand. The ribbon-shaped 'L' plays a symbolic role in representing CurlFete's interest in support and philanthropic initiatives such as Breast Cancer Awareness.
We added a demure 'Curl Girl' icon to complement the lettering with strips of confetti around her crown.

This felt like the final topping on our cake and made for a great alternative version – Délicieux!

APPLICATION

Naturally, the logo found its way onto a variety of signage and merchandise to support the brand's visibility.
